Lake Nuor in Ardabil province, according to the map of the National Surveying Organization in 2019, is located 48 kilometers southeast of Ardabil towards Khalkhal in one of the valleys of the Baghrou Mountains and at an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level. This lake, with an area of ​​over 210 hectares, consists of two small and large lakes that merge in the spring and create a single lake. The average depth of the lake is about 5 meters, except in mountainous areas.
