Koya Old Bazaar is one of those rare places where you can truly feel the history of Kurdistan. Walking through the narrow streets gives you a beautiful sense of nostalgia, with old shops, traditional architecture, and the warm atmosphere of local life. It feels like time has slowed down there. I really loved the authenticity and the “olderness” of the bazaar—it reminds you of how markets used to be before everything became modern. A wonderful place to explore, take photos, drink tea, and experience the real spirit of Koya. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

There is a caravan sarai in Koya Bazar and its condition is very sad. If the government do restoration, it would be an interesting place.
Lovely, friendly comerciants where to buy from. Lots of products to choose from, quality and some quite cheap.
Wonderful atmosphere

Khoshtern Bazaar
Fantastic place and historic place in Kurdistan Iraq
One of the oldest markets in the city of Koya
A historic market... buildings constructed in the old style... I find it wonderful... I love strolling through it every time I go to Koya... Yes, there are some drawbacks... but is there any place without drawbacks? I recommend everyone to explore this historic market.
It is one of the beautiful old markets, despite its relatively small size.

The streets are full of potholes, narrow, and congested traffic, with unsanitary restaurants and garbage dumps along the roads. There's chaos and a complete lack of law and order in Koy Sanjak.
I am very sorry that the city of Kenya does not have services
