College of Engineering - Salahaddin University-Erbil

The College of Engineering at Salahaddin University-Erbil established with the establishment of Salahaddin University in 1968 in the city of Slemani (Later is moved to Erbil in 1981). Currently we have 280 full time academic staff with 300 non-academic. All our academic staff are very active in teaching, research and consultancy. The AQ asks every academic staff to collect at least 25 scientific points every calendar year. The scientific point is very strictly defined includes academic initiatives, patents, student feedback, publications, serving community and involvement in running the depart

Mid-Level college with a nice campus

Your time and energy will be wasted in this place. You will experience inequality and discrimination. This is not a place to learn, it is a place for disappointing from the whole country. I wasted 5 years of my youth in this dark corner.

After or during graduation, you'll need several years of online training courses from Google, Udemy, edX, Coursera, and any other platforms to start learning from zero because you, my dear, won't build any skills in this university. Sorry to say that, but the job market is completely different from what you'll be taught during your university years. 😉 I wish you good luck. Be wise!

Waste of age

Ten years after graduation, all my female friends who graduated with degrees in civil engineering, surveying, dams, and water resources are still without any job in their field. They all work in unrelated jobs, or they find engineering jobs with very low salaries and then get fired. My advice: If you are a veiled girl, you will find it very difficult to get job opportunities, and the salary is often very low. Therefore, choose either architecture, design, software engineering, or computer science if you are looking for a high salary. And choose any medical specialty if you are looking for more
