This is one of the worst and most complicated consulates for citizens, especially Iraqis. While they allow entry to Europeans and Americans, they impose rejections and complications on any Arab. For example, a well-known professor and doctor applied for a visa for himself and his wife for medical treatment, only to be surprised by the Emirati (brotherly) rejection without any reason, despite a prior hospital reservation. It is unfortunate that some countries claim to be Arab, yet they are far from it.

This is the worst consulate I've ever encountered. I lived in the UAE, and their government offices weren't this bad. They wouldn't even let you in. They'd stop you at the door, and an Iraqi employee would come out from inside the embassy. You'd stand there in the scorching sun, explaining your problem, and he'd tell you to go online.
