The hotel claims to be 5 stars, but honestly it deserves no more than 2 or 3. The bed was old and uncomfortable — you could feel the springs. No slippers, no prayer mat, and the TV didn’t work until I called room service. The minibar had only two small bottles of water, and even basic items like a toothbrush were handed out at reception. In the restaurant, the bread box had no handle, the food warmers were propped with tissues, and the tablecloth was burned. Poor maintenance and low service quality — not worth the price.
NOT RECOMMENDED

we were on holiday I was looking for good hotel I called them they told me we are 5 star hotel with VIP rooms I believed them but when we entered the room it was OK then I saw long hair on the bed a bit later my wife saw bunch of hair on the floor it was late to change the room as I had young children with me I told the room service he said I should speak to the receptionist in the morning before checking out I told the receptionist he said manager is not here because it was Friday he made a few phone calls but no answer then he told you can speak to the hotel owner in his office I went to him

It is highly overrated hotel. I have been staying for past two days and I would say the services are very poor. Lift is not working. Restaurant service is pathetic. Morning breakfast is not warm. And they charge you a price of 140 usd per night. The rooms are fine. But laundry service is not upto mark. The internet is patchy with no one listening to complaints.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Duhok. There are many more options better than Dilshad palace at lesser price.

Parking is good, staff is friendly, price is expensive, location is near to center and Bazar. Swimming is wonderful. And fitness room is very good.
9/10

A hotel in the center of Duhok. The rooms are spacious and clean. Only the bathroom is a bit old. Breakfast needs to be a bit more varied. They only have instant coffee in a bowl. This is not befitting a hotel of this size. Other authentic coffees are available for an extra charge.

So, I wouldn't recommend it as a 5-star hotel. 3 stars, yes. Dirty breakfast room, dirty tablecloth, floor, etc. It used to be better. It's impossible to sleep on Thursdays and Fridays because the hotel is rented out to terrible weddings. The ventilation system mixes the kitchen with the smell of cigarettes.

A very nice hotel, deserving of 4 stars, but the prices need to be reduced slightly because the booking is expensive and not suitable for large families.

It's a good place, but the cleanliness isn't up to par; I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

Welcome to Dilshad by name.

I have stayed here a few times before. Overall, the hotel is good with nice staff and pleasant rooms. I particularly enjoyed the fourth floor, where the rooms are more luxurious and distinct. However, the prices are quite high. For the same amount, you could book a very nice hotel in Istanbul in a wonderful location.

Very old furniture, uncomfortable bed, it’s getting renewed while we are in it, like we were hearing by the drilling and everything while being inside our rooms. Very poor mini fridge, and so is the choice of food. U don’t have many things to pick from. Electricity constantly turns off and the elevator is super slow

I stayed in this Hotel for on night only.
Reception was good compared to other Kurdistan hotels I have visited. The staff was good.
The room was clean. Sheets clean and newly placed.
The breakfast is poor:
Poor and not enough choices of food. Black tea or quick cofee as hot drink or one type of juice.
Fruit selection is good.
The restaurant was clean and the reception was good though.
Generally i would compare this hotel to 2 stars hotels that I have visited in other countries.

In general, the service is as good as it should be, their food is healthy and fresh, the coffee break for meetings and training sessions is not luxurious.
On the other hand, the furniture has become old and needs replacement, the lebnani rest is also old decorated and needs a fresh rehabilitation, otherwise staff is well respected and helpful.
They do not have taxi service.
There is a nice pool outdoors and is only available in the summer.

A decent place, not fancy. My room was quiet, clean. I don't think I can rate if the food was good. But my friends were satisfied. We might come back again. Well located.

The first day, in room 202, I was being eaten alive by bedbugs and I hope I won't bring any back home with me on top of that the AC was blowing hot air even when set to cold. I demanded change of room after that. In there, the shower fluctuating between very hot and very cold... I visited the gym only to discover that more than half of the machines is not working (the cables were loose). The Hotel might have been 5* once, but now it's 2,5* maximum... The windows in rooms are dirty and can't be opened. The only good thing about this hotel was the yoghurt at breakfast, which was delicious(didn't

Visited this hotel for only 1 night.. very old hotel. It seems it was very famous during its ancient times.
Room very clean, comfortable bed.. yet old furniture. Hotel It is under renovation.
VERY BAD experience for breakfast. Supposed to be a 5 star 🌟 hotel, unfortunately if I carried with me some bread and cheese it would have been better.. not to visit again..

I came down with my family for one night. Customer service was hopeless. Room were cold and I had to ask for extra 5 small heaters to make be able to sleep. Only 5 options for breakfast and overall an ugly experience. Go elsewhere!

Very good property. Can't say much about it because I was there during Ramadan and not much commerce occurs in the city during that month. Even retail stores are closed during the day. Forty year ago the city was 90% Christians that was not the case but now it is 90% Muslim.

Location: great
Facilities: beautiful
Breakfast: very dull
Room: bath water cold
Air conditioning: noisy
Mattress: double bed worest ever, you can feel the springs
Entrance: fancy, but you have to be athletic to climb all steps
The funniest thing, they charge for bottled water
Fix all above, it will be one of the best in Duhok

We had no electricity for hours, the rooms are not clean, doors don't open, and the elevators are so slow. The hotel in general is very old. I will give it 1 star because the food is not bad.

Hotel is clean and functional, good Middle Eastern (Lebanese) food, some local Kurdish dishes. The usual breakdown of service, only one set of towels in a double room, no response from room service/housekeeping...

The rooms have been recently renovated & looks great and comfortable, the breakfast 🍳 good 👍🏻 as well.
I recommend staying in this hotel.
My stay there was comfortable. …

The wedding hall blares awful bass heavy local "music" which is so loud it makes the rooms over head shake. They also do not respect their customers by having this awful noise going until after 1am many nights in a row.
Internet is also poor at best, and often drops out. Do not try to rely on it for a meeting.

The hotel is nice and clean. The food is good. The staff are friendly. The price is a little high. I would stay again in this hotel anytime I'm in Duhok.

This hotel is good. I give it 4.5 stars ⭐️ for the service is good and its location is also good, close to the city center, 5 minutes to go to the city center by taxi, and there is also a party hall

If you're looking for a fancy hotel this is it , great service everything is good, sometimes it could be cheap but sometimes not, im not sure why but their prices change sometimes

It is very normal hotel and not worth 80 USD per night, the breakfast is very bad, nice staff and has clean room.

Worst hotel ever visited. It's under renovation with noises of workers and equipments all day and night long. Breakfast is very poor. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

Good services and the hotal staff are very cooperative. The prices are bit higher than other hotel nearby.

Well it's OK comparing the local standards,,, Great Breakfast buffet. Nice room size, design out of age.
