Edwina

I’m Mohammed. A year ago, I needed to get an IELTS certificate because I wanted to study abroad. However, my English was not good enough to take the exam, so I started thinking seriously about joining a course to improve my English. I did not know where to go. I have an older cousin who has a lot of experience and works at the UN. I told her about another course I was thinking about, and she said it was good, but there was a better one: Edwina American Academy. To be honest, at first I was disappointed with every institution because I did not trust them much. But then I told myself, “Let’s tak

A 10/10 language academy to learn English, I participated in a course at Edwina for learning English. At the beginning, when I arrived at Edwina, I couldn’t understand English very well or speak it. My understanding was somewhat okay, but I could only speak about 5%. Now it has been 6 months since I started there, and my English has improved a lot compared to before. They have very good and skilled teachers who are very experienced.

I took an IELTS academics course at Edwina academy with Mr Amin. It was a great experience. A very professional institution, well equipped classrooms and a great cafe. The classes were fun and engaging. I was able to get an overall 8 score in my first attempt. The tips and tricks Mr Amin told us helped me score 9 in listening and reading. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to prepare for IELTS

I recently completed a general course at your institution, and I wanted to express how beneficial it was for me. It significantly improved my skills and was one of the most successful learning experiences I’ve had. I just wanted to share my appreciation.”Your institution is one of the outstanding institutions in the Kurdistan region, and it stands out as one of the most successful. I’m grateful to have been part of that experience.

Edwina is an excellent place to learn English. The teachers are professional, kind, and supportive. The classes are well organized and very helpful, especially for improving speaking skills. I highly recommend Edwina to anyone who wants to improve their English with confidence.

Today was our last day of IELTS preparation course with Edwina Academy, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for all the staff members of Edwina, they were very nice, supportive and professional people, and mr.Amin made things really easy for us. I booked for ielts test in 5/3/2026 and when i have arrived, i recieved an emergency call and i had to leave the exam 10 mins before the exam begins, i thought i missed the exam, i didn't know what to do. I contacted the center, and dr. Jina (The best employee at the center) responded, she gave me their email, but i was so confued and distracted, so she decided to contact the council herself. After about 5-6 days she called me and told me what to do and after 8 days and after many procedures and difficulties she faced, she told me that i can book another exam without any additional costs. And

I have taken my IELTS test at the Edwina Institution, and it was genuinely a great experience as the place is convenient, very comfortable, appropriately quiet, and well equipped with hight-quality equipment. I also would like to thank the IELTS supervisor (very lovely young lady) and the spektator, who were extremely helpful and make you feel relaxed with their attendance and professionalism.

The Administration was very helpful, and I was very satisfied; I highly recommend this as the best English course in Erbil.

Great experience and greater instructors

Everything here is seamless and incredibly welcoming. The environment is top-tier, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional team. Ms. Jina is wonderful and provides such warm, supportive guidance. Pairing that with both teacher Bawr's and Amin's excellent expertise, structured teaching style, and great energy makes every session highly effective which helped me highly to be confident and more prepared for my IELTS exam.

My experience at the American Academy for the IELTS course was very positive. The instructors were knowledgeable and provided clear strategies for each section of the exam (listening, reading, writing, and speaking). The practice materials were helpful, and the mock tests really improved my confidence and timing. The staff were also friendly and supportive throughout the course. I highly recommend this academy for anyone serious about achieving a good IELTS score.
