A new restaurant in Shaqlawa with a stylish and innovative design... We visited it when it first opened... The staff are excellent, but they're under immense pressure due to the small number of employees compared to the size of the place. We ordered quzi (a traditional Palestinian dish), but the meat pieces were small, and mixed grill, but there was no offal! The food in general is very good, but the portions are small and there are no appetizers! The soup is excellent, unlike other restaurants where it's all starch. The food was good but the rice was cold, and the burger was over-grilled and tasted kind of charred but overall it was good. The service was slow and you had to tell the waiters each item was not on the table 3-4 times for them to actually bring it and we had to wait 30 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. The atmosphere was nice, they played arabic music and it was a cozy vibe. Overall, it was good, but not great.

The food: The kebab wasn't good, it was very cold and tasted of charcoal and sand, and it was very strong. The service wasn't very good, but the atmosphere was nice.

The place and atmosphere are great. The food is bad; the soup was good but too salty. They served us grilled meats that had sand and charcoal in them, so we returned them to the kitchen and they replaced them. The service was slow, and the waiters were new and hadn't been trained in how to serve food. The appetizers weren't good, even though they were free. The restrooms weren't cleaned and were in terrible condition. My advice to the owner: change the chef and train the waiters, or you'll lose customers.
