Very bad hotel zero service dirty place and noisy

I rarely write reviews but this was one of the worst hotels I stayed in while in Iraq, even for budget travel. No shower in my room, entire room smelled awful, dirty sheets, no duvet cover, and had no running water at night.

It is hard to understand how a place can be so bad and still charge the same as other hotels in Kurdistan. The room was not cleaned after the previous guest left, evidenced by the rubbish in the bins and the surprises in the toilet, which didn't flush. They tried to put us in another room but it was worse. The staff is mainly watching their phone everytime we saw them, specially the guy in the night. The only decent thing is the central location. I wouldn't mine staying in those conditions if the price was low, but it is the same as everywhere else making an effort to provide a good service.
