Average 3 star hotel in the city centre. We chose this place because it is within walking distance to the bazaar and the citadel. Previous reviews are right, it is very noisy even at night. You can hear people talking downstairs. We had early check in and went out by 01:00 as we had a flight to catch. The bad thing was we had to carry our luggage up many flights of stairs. Outside the hotel there’s many food options such as street food, and the bazaar is very lively. Toilet is simple and at least the hot water works during winter.

Nicest places in the center of Erbil
However, my friend and I are cheap
Most rooms in the neighborhood are 25 to 40k for 2
The booking.com price was 47 to 45 usd a night.
Yes. It has a beautiful balcony facing the city wall
Yes. The restaurant has a corner view of the night market
Yes. Unfortunately, we are cheap.
This is the only reason why Professor S and I didn't stay here.

The hotel is located on the edge of the bazaar, making it incredibly noisy. The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed, and the other guests show absolutely no consideration for peace and quiet or their fellow guests. Otherwise, the small room was clean with hot water and air conditioning. Despite its proximity to the citadel, I would not book this hotel again.

The best hotel in terms of price, cleanliness, and location. I recommend trying it.

Great stay! Clean rooms, comfy beds, and friendly staff who helped quickly. Location was convenient, breakfast fresh, and check-in smooth. Good value for money. Would happily stay again. Thanks so much!

Great little hotel if you want to be in the midst of the citadel vibe. Hard to spot the entrance walking around the circular market stalls but the map pin is accurate. Look for the suitcase stall.
Outstanding views of the citadel and the market below from the little viewpoint balcony.
The citadel market is a bustling, happy vibe to browse wares of everything from books to sweets and an awful lot in between. It’s a friendly, comfortable area to walk around and the sellers are polite and respectful. But of course, enjoy the haggle over the price if you want to buy something more than coffee, s

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel is ok. My room was more or less clean and the staff was more or less friendly. The location is amazing because it is right next to the citadel and you can explore the city easily because most things are in walking distance. I am a solo female traveller and I felt safe in this hotel.

On the first day when I arrived, the bed sheet had an old stain, I slept and didn't tell the hotel. On the last day, the hotel said that you stained it and you should pay a fine of 30,000.

The good points only goes to the friendly staff .
No elevator, we had 4 baggage and a stroller for baby . No lobby . At night you wont sleep from the noise coming from the street , we thought our windows were open , they were closed but the noise was so loud , we couldnt sleep from the loud music and screaming. You will hear everything aboce the room and beside it , even when the phone rings in reception, you will wake up . If you intend on not sleeping, this is s good place just to throw ypur stuff in and go , the generator is on all night so that also added to the noise from the stores below

We had a terrible experience at this hotel! There was an old stain on the bedding that we saw but didn't tell them, but when checking out, the hotel receptionist said that you did and wanted a lot of damage! He threatened to call the police, but when we told him to call, he got scared himself. This hotel is extortion!

A well-known, clean, and tidy hotel at very reasonable prices. Enjoy your time in its beautiful location overlooking Erbil Citadel. Welcome! 👌👌👍🌹

This is my first time visiting them, and I'm new to the country. They treat you like a local, they're very respectful and have a great attitude. It's a shame they're not very well-known, and their prices are very reasonable.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I was without water for three days, and when I called them, they wouldn't answer, saying it was broken and they'd fix it later. And a night cost 35,000!

A clean, small hotel with reasonable prices. Located in the heart of the historic castle and bazaar, the reception staff only speaks Arabic and English. They don't speak Kurdish or Turkish. There's no breakfast. Because it's in the bazaar, there's still noise even at midnight. There's no parking, so you have to search for parking in that crowded area.

Many hotels in the bazaar are dirty, but this hotel seems to have been recently renovated and the rooms are very clean. The rooms seemed smaller than other hotels, but they were still larger than Japanese business hotels and the double beds were comfortable. The hotel is located in the center of town, right in front of Erbil Castle, making it very convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

The hotel is clean, and the young men at reception are very respectful and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The only downside to the hotel is that you can hear the noise from the rooms next to you, and anyone walking in the hallway can be heard.

The hotels in Erbil near the citadel are very dirty and unfit for human habitation. The worst experience of my life.

The hotel is nice in terms of service, rooms, and commercial location, but it lacks a garage, elevator, and breakfast. Prices are average.
