Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing service, and perfect location! Would recommend it to everyone! To me it was a 5-star hotel not even 4-star! Good job!!

I booked my room over the phone. I was not informed that the room did not have a private bathroom. When I arrived, I had to pay an extra $23 to change to a room with a private bathroom. If I had known this in advance, I would have chosen a different hotel. The staff were polite, but important room details should be clearly explained before booking.

Our stay at La Roche Hotel in Erbil was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell they truly prioritize cleanliness and attention to detail. The night reception was very rude and seemed to be upset with our presence. But the housekeeping staff were very polite. In front of the hotel door, when I saw my family after 4 years, the security guard in front of the hotel door was very rude to us because we were taking pictures outside the hotel and told us to delete the picture. They are not yet ready to deal with tourists!😳

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. At checkout, I was suddenly told I needed to pay an additional $113 — not for any extra service I used, but because they made a mistake and forgot to charge it at check-in. Instead of owning the error and offering a proper resolution or at least an apology, they simply demanded payment as if it was my fault. This kind of unprofessional handling of billing is unacceptable, especially when guests are preparing to leave and are put on the spot. We had a very pleasant experience at the La Roche lovely hotel, highly competetent team, all requests were dealt with swiftly and in excess of expectations. We were welcomed by the best staff at the entrance. The food is great and the staff in the buffet were very welcoming and warm. An exquisite experience and I am definitely coming back.

The reception charged me extra money for the water. When I checked in the same receptionist told me that coffee and water are free and anything inside the mini bar is charged. When I got to my room there was coffee on the pantry and two water bottles in the mini fridge along with a few chocolate bars. I stay tonight there with an awful experience. The room was so dirty and very small without a TV and the sink was block. There was no gym. Very bad experience at the front desk as they were blocking my car in the parking lot for more than 11 hour without a reason where the parking lot were empty so the car was blocking my car and then behind and the person was one of the employees. please do not stay there. It’s unsafe.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, modern and wonderful service from the staff. Location was great, had shops, ice cream shop, and super market close by. Clean kind of quite and not a bad hotel to stay, the location is not the best but there are couple of nearby restaurants anyhow by taxi should not take more than 10 minutes to the city center, the beds are ok (but you will feel there is a plastic beneath the sheets !!! very weird). price is reasonable but should be less. On arrival no one took up my bags, the room was not clean, there was too much sound and they were not helpful in changing the room. I was looking forward to this hotel because of the great reviews it had, but it looks like it is going backwards.

Don't come if you are driving your own car. You will be forced to park your car in the sunlight in the summer because all the spots with a shade are claimed by the manager of the hotel even though there are only a couple or three cars there. That's the first thing you get at arrival and it is not very welcoming. The rooms are clean but the lighting is dim.

The room are good, however for those who are fasting in Ramadan the obmnly option it to have the meal befor midnight

The Hotel was very sub standard. Breakfast wasn't even a standard. The Chefs fresh Arabic bread was good, that is it. The Indian chef had terrible attitude. I asked him for an Americano and he said now I have to use the coffee from the Perculator that was probably standing there for hours, milk couldn't even change the colour and they have an Americano machine, but the waiter said no, not available for Breakfast, but another guest received an Americano. There was 4 of us staying there for a bussiness trip, but will definitely inform the Compony to never book us there again.

Great hotel. The staff here are friendly and helpful and truly make you feel like a welcome guest. The restaurant has great food - many middle eastern/Arabic dishes. The breakfast is now a buffet (used to be a la carte) and there are selections for most everyone (including vegans and vegetarians). The gym is also quite nice - several cardio machines and weights. It's a short walk from many shops and also close to the old city. It's very close to the airport too and there is a shuttle service available if you arrange beforehand. The rooms are nice but the WiFi sucks. They have a better WiFi but only give it to customers that complain or stay for 7+ Nights.. WiFi here irritated me and when I called front desk, they acted like they didn’t care. Going to “classy hotel” next time.

The place is nice, I would like to talk about it's location, it was 15 min walk near Enkawa for me I consider 15 min as good since I like to walk. There is a big garden in front of the hotel so the weather is nice and very encouraging to continue walking.
