A clean 3-star hotel with good furnishings. The bathrooms are average (my room had a broken shower, while in another room, the pool drain had no cover). The air conditioning is excellent, the Wi-Fi is good and free, the bedding is clean and good, the lighting is good—not gloomy or weak as in hotels abroad. It's in a good location, just 100 meters from the Kirkuk highway. It's very clean, with not a speck of dust in the cabinets, and the restroom was like new, without a single stain. If cleanliness is your priority, this should be your first choice. It's a popular choice for Turkish guests. The staff speaks English, and some speak Turkish as well, and the treatment is excellent. There are Turkish channels on the TV. Breakfast is satisfactory and reasonably priced. The only downside is that the bed wasn't orthopedic, but I don't know about the other rooms.

Great place to stay; the staff is excellent and the rooms are clean, no complaints regarding that. The only problem is the sound isolation; it's horrible. You can hear the traffic sounds very clearly, and it's very disturbing until you get used to it, which I did after the second day. I hope that they fix this issue because this is a really great place to stay.

Highly recommend Merci hotel! We had a great stay here. The rooms are clean, warm and large. The shower is great. The best part is the great gym, which has high quality gym equipment and treadmill! Staff were helpful and parking was available. The best stay we have had in some time :)

Merci hotel was conveniently located in a more modern section of Erbil. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, lacking nothing. The staff was warm, friendly and spoke good English. We spent several nights here; friendly and helpful people and great breakfast. We were made very welcome and staff were very helpful regarding advice and arranging onward travel, etc. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. We would be happy to come back anytime!

The staff are nice and the rooms are clean, nothing fancy but it's a good deal for the price of the night, however the location is really not the best location you would wanna be in! it's a bit far from where I or my friends usually hang! but overall it was good enough for what I have paid.

The staff were accommodating and arranged a taxi for us charged to the room to get into the center for food and beers. We had a three person room with comfortable bed and a clean shower. ||The location was a bit out of the center. |||
