A French scientist conducted a study on falcons. He went to a falcon's nest, removed the eggs, and replaced them with chicken eggs. The pair returned to the nest and incubated the eggs until the chicks hatched—supposedly falcon chicks. When the male falcon saw them, he flew away from the nest, and they flew off.
