A beautiful traditional souk/ bazar (shopping center) with many different shops and restaurants. People are so nice and helpful. Here you can buy traditional sweets, food, perfumes and clothes. The atmosphere is welcoming. I really loved being here.

The market located beneath the historic Erbil Citadel. A pleasant area where you can find almost anything you need. You could call it the heart of Erbil.

This place is definitely worth a visit. Located in the heart of Erbil, right below the citadel, which was unfortunately closed for renovations in the spring of 2025. You can buy literally anything you could possibly want at the bazaar. We ate sweets, drank delicious coffee and tea, and bought spices and excellent soaps.
