I visited Shaghaf Cafe based on recommendations to try "specialty coffee," but unfortunately, it was one of the worst coffees I've ever tasted. The coffee they served bore no resemblance to specialty coffee: no distinct flavor, no unique aromas, and tasted more like cheap, commercially available coffee. I inquired about the type of beans or their origin, but the staff had no real knowledge of the subject. It seemed as though the term "specialty coffee" was just a marketing ploy. It is always good to be there. The taste was great, the atmosphere was fine. What I like is that they have different corners where you can enjoy different types of comfort. The price is normal compared to similar cafes in the town which I find, in general HIGH.

The San Sebastian bar is delicious and worth trying. The atmosphere is peaceful. Most importantly, you can sit without being suffocated by cigarette and shisha smoke, something we lack in most cafes and restaurants. The service is quick and excellent. The tropical fruit breeze, watermelon breeze, and strawberry are very bad; they're just concentrated artificial juices with excessive acidity and sugar. The taste is inconsistent and disappointing.

It's strange and I didn't like it... a coffee shop of this caliber and reputation doesn't have an electronic payment machine and doesn't accept Visa or electronic payments... in a place like this in Erbil.
