This old market (Bazarê Kevnê) in Zakho is simply a wonderful place! The moment you step inside, you are greeted by the old, noble, and sincere atmosphere of Kurdistan. You feel like you're escaping the noise of the modern world and traveling deep into history. The hospitality of the shopkeepers and the traditional texture that permeates every corner of the market keep the legacy of the past alive today. Everything, from traditional clothing to local flavors, is very authentic. It would be a great loss to come to Zakho and leave without breathing in this historical atmosphere. I highly recomme
