Great location in 60th Street friendly staff good breakfast good speed internet walking distance from Carefour 7 minutes next door big shop for nuts and sweets behind it local restaurant for grilled meat also near carefour small restaurants and some shops by taxi to citadel or to family mall less than 10 minutes also samad restaurant near by

The food is amazing, I went too hotels a lot but the food in Van Royal hotel is the best, so delicious.

I stayed there for two nights, on both nights at 9-10 pm they would start doing drilling work on the bathroom next to my room and I couldn't rest, unfortunately my issue wasn't fixed, but the staff are lovely

We had a training in this hotel , the host was very good , the food is very good and the stuff is very nice , the location is good as well , I recommend it for family or business trips

My recent stay at the Van Royal Hotel in Erbil was a delightful surprise. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's central location, right in the heart of the city. This made it easy to explore Erbil's sights and shops without needing extensive travel. The true highlight of the Van Royal, however, was its staff. Everyone I encountered, from the reception desk to the housekeeping crew, was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The room itself was a haven of clean

So bad . Dirty and old rooms. Very bad food, only nice training rooms. The treatment is very bad. It is not suitable for tourism, organizations or business travel. I do not recommend it. It is preferable to any other hotel. Two stars is more than it deserves.

Good venue. Run down carpets. Kitchen only speaks arabic so good luck ordering in English , kitchen and room service available 6am to 2am. Rooms are nice, run down furniture though, could use a clean. Customer service is excellent

Cons: The lobby is just a few random chairs placed and there was a mess at the reception table. I left my ID for the registration and came back after about 1 hour and they still haven't finished my registration. The room conditioner was VERY loud I could barely sleep even though my room was one of the best rooms in the hotel. Wifi was horribly slow. Pros: The breakfast was very good I liked the type of food they provided and how convenient was it to go around and pick foods to your liking. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Rotana is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in the city, The location is fantastic, as it’s close to everything you might need, the service is top notch, the rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, providing both comfort and luxury, I highly recommend to anyone visiting Suli!

Clean rooms, moderate buffet.I find it Expensive. However, the biggest downside is PARKING. They will not allow you to park in shade because they often say its reserved only for VIPs when I argued that all customers should be treated royal as the name implies they answered a stupid question by saying VIP means management. Imagine managers do not allow visitors to park near the entrance(and n shae)

Parking area is not convenient, the room qualities are pretty good, conference room and ballroom are big and clean for multi purpose events, restaurant area is good and the food is tasty. Only overall is a bit overpriced. Recommend it to experience it.

Stayed here two nights and I think it is a great hotel. It is clean and nice and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are new and the bathrooms are very nice. If there were 1 thing to put your finger on I would say that the beds are hard. My back did not like the beds.

The worst experience in a hotel I ever had! Bad rooms, bad bathrooms, bad breakfast buffet and the worse beds! You can hear the persons in the next rooms and the worst thing is that's you hear the sound of draining the bathwater from the rooms above you! I do not recommend it to anyone.

I initially thought this was 4 stars hotel but it turned out to be 5. Relatively small building with small car park . The breakfast was of good quality . Location is a little far from down town .

Nice looking hotel, good conference rooms and facilities, coffee is ok, food during the lunch is so so. Entrance by car is challenging for the first time, but then it's ok, as you know how to navigate.
