A wonderful place at night... overlooking the entire city, with various seating areas, a dancing fountain, a theater, and a high-end restaurant... one of the most beautiful places in Kurdistan.

Cool and calm place

The canal was nice because it had a dancing fountain, gardens, and restaurants, but it's best to go up before sunset so you can see well at night as it's very dark.

What a messy place! We came here for enjoying the view onto Duhok, but after traveling in 74 countries for the last 3 years we rarely saw trashed places like this. Rubbish and trash all around and we saw locals just throwing everything, everywhere. The place offers dozens of plastic chairs and plastic tables along the rim. It could have been a perfect place for enjoying the sunset above Duhok, as the views are really breathtaking. But it looks more like an abandoned park of the 60s, rather than something to enjoy and you will find trash basically everywhere. We drove a bit down the hill for se

Always an amazing view! I look forward to visiting it again, but this time not in uniform. All of Kurdistan was wonderful and beautiful and I'm sure it is even more so now. The history is amazing too!! If you are in the area, this is a must see!

It is the most modern and interesting place in Duhok.. Nice view on mosul lake and mosul city from the south..and duhok from the north.. Lage well occupied garden with nice restaurant Also music and small artificial lake..telefreek 2 ways..
